Well if there ever was a stage to announce something like that, this was a great one!
Jessie J was helping raise money at the Delete Bone Cancer Gala in New York by performing for all of the attendees!
But then, before singing her song Who You Are the 26-year-old singer announced that she wrote the song after she had a minor stroke!
Eeeps! So scary!
Jessie added:
“I feel so lucky that I was given a second chance at life. So every day when I am able to do this, you have no idea how amazing it feels that I’m so lucky to be onstage and singing and living my dream.”
Apparently she has had heart problems since she was a child! She was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome!
After the moving message, though, Jessie moved all around the crowd, crooning to the audience!
People must have been inspired by hers and all of the other miraculous stories because they raised $4 million!!!
We’re always inspired by Jessie J but to overcome that?! Wow!
