Jim Edmonds Moves Into New House Amid Messy Separation From Meghan King Edmonds

Jim Edmonds is settling into a new home amid the ongoing messy split from his estranged wife Meghan King Edmonds.

The 49-year-old gave Instagram followers a peak at the new house on Friday as his kids with the former Real Housewives of Orange County star: 2-year-old daughter Aspen and 17-month-old twin boys Hayes and Hart, alongside Sutton and Landon, his older children with ex-wife Allison Edmonds, played in the posted clips.

This change of scenery comes less than two days after the former St. Louis Cardinals player allegedly gave police a call on Wednesday evening about Meg’s ability to care for their children after she had a girls night out with friends.

A source close to the situation revealed the chain of events, saying:

“Meghan came home from being out with friends and she had a couple glasses of wine. It was the first time Jim stayed at her house and put the kids to sleep since he filed for divorce, so she met up with friends. She didn’t drive. She was washing her face when she heard someone knock around 10:30 p.m. An officer was there with Jim and told her Jim said he was worried she couldn’t care for [their] kids.”

Apparently, the former Bravolebrity was taken aback by the whole ordeal, responding to an officer (below) who asked if she was “comfortable and capable of taking care” of her kids:

“Of course, yes! In your personal opinion, do you think that I am in any way, incapable, of taking care of my three little baby children who are totally desperate for a parent?”

After the officers on the scene determined she was fit to take care of her children, who were being cared for by Jim, the former MLB player allegedly accused Meghan of “cheating on him with the man who dropped her off at their home,” according to the insider.

While the 35-year-old has yet to comment on the details, Jim did talk to Us Weekly on Thursday. Speaking defensively about his decision to call the cops, he said:

“I did not call the police on my wife. I called the police to protect the situation and make sure there were no further issues.”

All of this is such a mess!!
