Why would anyone ever mess with marching bands??
CBS sports network commentator Jim Rome has been known to have a bit of a controversial past but that doesn’t stop this television personality from making his opinion known every now and then!

Which is exactly what happened sometime this past Thursday night during the slate of college football games when Jim tweeted this gem out:
“Is there anyone not in a marching band who thinks those dorks running around with their instruments are cool?”
Well, that set off a HUGE internet backlash that got SO bad Rome was calling for mercy by the very next day!
Here’s what he wrote on Twitter:
“Band nation – I hear you. I was out of line. I apologize. I do not condone bullying of any kind and that was not my intent.”
That did seem exactly what a high school bully would say, but at least Jim owned up and admitted he was wrong.
Hell hath no fury like a young adult with a saxophone!
Lolz!
No but seriously school marching bands are like nine times out of ten more entertaining than the actual football games.
