This Shakespearean game of desks has actually resulted in a pretty non-violent transition!
In an extension of the olive branch, Jimmy Fallon has invited Jay Leno to come on the new Tonight Show which makes its return to New York City this February 17th.
You don’t have to flash the applause sign for us to praise this move!
In a recent sit down with Matt Lauer and Jay, Jimmy opened up to Matt about welcoming Jay to come on his show whenever:
“I told Jay, I gave him a round-trip ticket to New York├óΓé¼┬ªthe stage is his, so whenever he wants, he’s got a stage.”
Well, he’ll be able to take the stage, but maybe not takeover the stage, you know, coup d’etat style.
Jimmy went on to joke that the round-trip ticket is coach because Jay is so humble moments before Jay ran him over with one of his cars.
