JJ Abrams is channeling A New Hope for his upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, and we are filled with the fire of Tatooine’s two suns we’re that excited!
According to Lost-alumni Dominic Monaghan, JJ is looking to cast some fresh new faces for this new galactic installation:
“We├óΓé¼Γäóve talked a few times about it and he said ‘We├óΓé¼Γäóre putting together a cast of unknowns ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ we want to follow the ├óΓé¼Γäó77 New Hope cast because obviously Harrison Ford wasn├óΓé¼Γäót well known at that point, Mark Hamill wasn├óΓé¼Γäót and Carrie Fisher wasn├óΓé¼Γäót either’…What he said was, ‘We don├óΓé¼Γäót want to fall into that mistake of people going ‘Oh it├óΓé¼Γäós that guy from that thing!’ and then you├óΓé¼Γäóre completely out of the Star Wars universe.'”
Our lightsabers just went from off to fully extended this news is so hot!
Rather than have well known stars war over the parts, it makes sense to have someone completely knew define the role themselves!
Maybe the next big Star Wars actor is picking up some power converters at Tosche station as we speak!
