After more than 5 decades of doing standup comedy, we know Joan Rivers is a total pro at handling hecklers.
But what if it’s your friend and Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne who’s the one giving you grief from the audience?!
That├óΓé¼Γäós exactly what eyewitnesses say happened at Joan├óΓé¼Γäós sell-out show in El Lay on Friday night — though, if we had to guess, we imagine it was all done in the name of good fun. Kelly adores Joan and vice versa. If this did happen, it probably was more playful than anything.
Still, sources say Kell was boozing it up before the show and by the time she took her seat, she was enjoying herself maybe a little too much!
A fan who was at the Saban Theater that night spilled:
“Kelly had one drink before the show started and then during the show, she got up and went to the bar to get even more drinks.├óΓé¼┬¥
The source also explained how where she was seated may have set Kelly off, saying:
“In the beginning of the show, there were open seats in the front row and Joan invited people in the ├óΓé¼╦£bad├óΓé¼Γäó seats to come down front. Kelly and her friend ran down from their seats that were further back, but Joan wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót let her sit in the seats. She said ├óΓé¼╦£No, no one that I know.├óΓé¼Γäó So Kelly and her friend ended up sitting a few rows back. Kelly was yelling things out to Joan during the show when no one else was and she was throwing her hands up in the air. She was doing it obnoxiously. Everyone around her thought she was drunk.├óΓé¼┬¥
Yikes… where’s George Kotsiopoulos to buffer when you need him!
We haven├óΓé¼Γäót heard anything about how Joan responded to Kelly├óΓé¼Γäós outbursts or whether she told any jokes directly about Osbourne, but that’s unlikely anyway. What we can confirm is that Miz Rivers was her regular raunchy self, even calling Kim Kardashian and Kanye West├óΓé¼Γäós seven-month old daughter ugly!
Maybe Kelly didn’t find the Kardashian bashing all that funny?
After the show, insiders says 29-year-old Osbourne darted backstage to try and talk to Joan, even banging on her dressing room door! They explained:
“She grabbed her friend as she was leaving and was hanging onto him, it seemed so obvious that she had been drinking.”
This is not good!
Keep in mind, Kelly has confessed to going to rehab at least seven times in the past! But she has also never claimed to be sober.
We├óΓé¼Γäód be lying if we said we├óΓé¼Γäóve never blamed it on the al-al-alcohol, baby. But this sort of behavior might be a bit much.Then again, Joan is nothing if not wild and rambunctious herself. Perhaps that’s why she and Kells get along as well as they do.
