Unless we time warped to 1984, this statement is highly incorrect and offensive to the likes of George Clooney and Brad Pitt .
In a recent interview, Jodie Foster took up the reins of the Save Mel Gibson campagin and told reporters that she thought her pal was still revered in Tinsel Town. She went onto to say that Mel will be able to get through this “rough time” in his life and come out the other side a stronger man and actor. She told sources:
“He is incredibly loved by everyone that’s ever come into contact with him or works with him. He is truly the most loved man in the film business, so, hopefully that stands for something.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t, because it’s just not so.
Will he be able to make a comeback? Sure, everyone loves to see an unredeemable soul be redeemed, but never will he be adored by the biz the way you’re describing. He was never really loved that much to begin with!
But way to stand by your man, girl!
