Joe Jonas Shares 'Toughest' Part Of Being A Single Dad & Co-Parenting With Sophie Turner

Joe Jonas is opening up about life as a single parent!

In Tuesday’s edition of the Jonas Brothers‘ new podcast, Hey Jonas, the singer got candid about what it’s been like to raise his daughters, Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with his ex-wife Sophie Turner.

As Perezcious readers know, the co-parents were locked in a bitter battle when they first split in 2023. Thankfully, though, they were able to agree on custody terms and things have seemingly been going really smoothly ever since. Joe’s latest comments prove it!

Responding to a caller’s question about “the most healing part of being a parent,” the DNCE frontman gushed:

“I’m a single dad and I co-parent with my children’s mother. I think my children have given me, like, purpose again in my life.”

Aw!

He explained that while he’s “grateful” to do work with his brothers that they “love so much,” having his kids has changed his whole perspective on life:

“Knowing that I get to work hard if I’m not with them and go back to my shared time where I get to be with them, it makes it so much better to work that much harder. They’ve really given me the reason to be alive, I would say. In my saddest moments, I’m able to be reminded quickly that a hug from them can solve the world’s problems, in my own world. And I know I’m not hyper unique. There’s a lot of people in my situation that are single parents and go through this, and I’m grateful that I have a co-parent that I can balance even the bad days.”

Who else has tears in their eyes?! You’re not alone. Kevin looked like he was getting choked up listening to his younger brother talk. So sweet!

Joe went on to praise the people who have supported him through this change, concluding:

“Being able to have good people around me to kind of help me navigate it is really special, and I think they’ve taught me that I’ll be okay even in my toughest days.”

It’s so important to have a strong support system!

It’s clear Joe has come so far after his heartbreaking divorce. How refreshing to hear of amiable co-parents! We’re glad things seem to be working out well for the family.
