UPDATE 6:37 P.M. EST: After concluding the death was not the result of violence, the FBI has dropped their investigation, passing it back to local police. Should cops suspect foul play down the road, the FBI could enter the scene again.
Joel Taylor’s apparent overdose has prompted the FBI to chase down whoever supplied the drugs that allegedly led to his death.
As we reported, the Storm Chasers star had been doing GHB during a wild party on a Royal Caribbean ship late Monday night when he fell unconscious. He was carried into his cabin and left there, where he was pronounced dead Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement sources are now telling TMZ that huge quantities of party drugs were found on board the ship — including cocaine, ecstasy, and GHB — and the FBI wants answers as to how the illegal substances got on board, as well as who supplied them.

Several people were arrested before the Harmony of the Seas left the Ft. Lauderdale port, the sources added.
Passengers tell the outlet that drugs were flowing freely among many passengers the night Taylor apparently OD’d. After the reality star’s death, there was reportedly lot of commotion involving drugs when the boat docked in Puerto Rico.
