In a dark room with just a single table between them, John Galliano gives his first television interview to Charlie Rose since being fired from Christian Dior more than two years ago.
While he opened up to Ingrid Sischy for the Vanity Fair interview, actually seeing John and hearing him tell his emotional story is a totally different experience!
The 52-year-old is almost unrecognizable with his hair slicked back into a ponytail and dressed very conservatively (especially for him!) in a blue dress shirt and navy blazer.
And though Rose creates a somber but calm atmosphere, John’s fear and nervousness are clearly visible on his pained, makeup-free face.
Watch an excerpt (above) from the interview, and check out two more heartfelt clips…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
In this clip, Johnny G (as he called himself in rehab) opens up about his feelings after Alexander McQueen‘s tragic suicide back in 2007.
This short clip features John addressing his anti-Semitic comments.
