OMG — poor John Goodman!
The legendary actor must not get starstruck much, considering how many films he’s been in and how many amazing actors he’s shared a screen with, but in Kristen Wiig‘s case, he is a HUGE fan!

The only problem is, after a bad encounter at a party, he may never speak to her again!!

Goodman was on The Howard Stern Show when the host asked him about the actor’s awkward encounter with the Bridesmaids actress, and the 13-time Saturday Night Live host didn’t hold back about approaching her at a party once:
“She was talking to somebody else, and I was just — I think she’s so great, and the social barriers broke down and I interrupted the conversation, and I would just hate for somebody to do that to me. And she goes, ‘Yeah, I’ll talk to you in a minute.’ [makes sound of bomb dropping] It was like the Atom. I shrunk down to Atom size. … I really like her, and it was embarrassing, so I’ll never speak to her again.”

So awkward for Goodman, but is it just us or is it SUPER cute that an actor as legendary as this gets starstruck and completely fan crazy over another actress like Wiig??

Let’s just hope — like Stern tried to beg for from Wiig after hearing the story — that the actress gives Goodman another shot!
