John Oliver's Last Week Tonight Renewed For MORE Seasons... And The HBO Host Has An Idea Who Jon Stewart's Replacement SHOULD Be!

We LOVE this man AND his accent!
John Oliver will be the first one to admit that he owes everything to Jon Stewart and it would seem like Mr. Oliver would be the perfect replacement for the departing Daily Show host.
However, when the host of Last Week Tonight appeared on The Tonight Show this past Tuesday, Jimmy Fallon reiterated the news that John’s HBO show has just been picked up for two more seasons on the premium channel.
Which means John Oliver will definitely be sticking around there until at least the end of a fourth season in 2017!
Here’s what the president of programming of HBO Michael Lombardo said in a statement:

“We are incredibly proud to have John as part of the HBO family. His unique ability to deliver socially significant commentary week after week, along with his innate comedic brilliance, puts John in a class by himself.”

But even though John Oliver won’t be the one replacing the Comedy Central stalwart, the former Daily Show correspondent has some brilliant ideas on who should replace his former boss!

John thinks Jon’s replacement should be… a hologram version of Jon Stewart!
In fact the host thinks the hologram could even incorporate a little bit of the Tupac Shakur hologram that was a big success in the past!
It would almost be like Jon never left! Awesome!
