Amid his ongoing defamation lawsuit with The Sun, Johnny Depp is providing new evidence against ex Amber Heard and her assault allegations.
Last year, the Pirates of the Caribbean thespian sued the publication for their April 2018 story, headlined “How can J.K. Rowling be ‘genuinely happy’ casting wife-beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?” which references an alleged May 21, 2016 altercation where Heard accused Depp of throwing a phone at her face, and then pummeling her. Afterwards, she took pictures of her alleged injuries.

According to TMZ on Tuesday, the actor provided new documents — including witness statements — where individuals allegedly saw the actress at their apartment building on the day in question, and saw no red marks or bruising on her face.
Apparently, one witness didn’t see the alleged marks until six days later.
While the Aquaman star also took photos of broken glass, claiming Depp hurled it in the unit, a witness declared:
“There was no smashed glass that I noticed in the apartment at the time.”
Johnny also cited two depositions where cops said they saw no injuries on Amber on May 21.
In regards to his drama with The Sun, Depp exclaimed:
“They must have made a positive decision to present a totally one-sided picture, leaving out my side of the story and pretending it either did not exist or was not worth considering.”
Despite sticking to her story, Depp is adamant Heard injured herself after the alleged incident, and then took pictures.
The two married in 2015, and finalized their divorce in early 2017.
