One of the toughest parts of a divorce is when a kid is stuck in the middle.
We find it even sadder, though, when it’s a poor little puppy dog because they have no way of ever knowing what’s going on no matter how you try and explain it to them!
We previously mentioned that Johnny Weir took Tëma, the Japanese Chin dog he shared with Victor Voronov, when he cleared his belongings out of their place.
Victor was extremely upset because of how much he loved the dog.
He’s filed papers with a New Jersey court requesting financial support and the return of T├â┬½ma during the divorce proceedings.
Victor claims that even though Weir bought the dog it was “a ‘make-up gift’ after [Voronov] caught [Weir] sexting with another man.”
He claims that he was also the primary caretaker of the dog and is extremely attached to him, writing:
“I trained him, walked him, took him to the veterinarian. As a direct result of often being home alone while [Weir] was promoting his ‘image,’ it is T├â┬½ma that kept me company.”
We feel so bad for Victor! But also for Tëma! That poor pup!
We hope this divorce gets over quickly and Johnny shows a little compassion to Victor.
It’s the least he can do if he’s gonna keep the dog!
