We wonder who in their right mind takes this guy seriously? Every word that comes out of his mouth is complete nonsense!
Jon Gosselin was on Larry King Live last night and, as expected, it was a desperate attempt to appeal to America’s sympathies by acting like a devoted father and apologetic husband. (He mentions that he tried calling Kate Gosselin a month ago, but she didn’t want to talk to him. Wonder why?!) But while he didn’t go on a full-scale Kate-irate attack, he didn’t hold back with his feelings towards TLC.
Jon told Larry King that he stands by his claim that he was ready to quit and “pull the plug” on the show weeks before TLC canned his ass. Jon’s lawyer was also present for the interview, backed Jon up, and insisted that the move to throw down the gauntlet with TLC was a long time coming and that Jon found out about his dismissal from the show the same as everyone else did – the Internet.
But the majority of the interview was spent hearing Jon refer to his concern for his children, calling the filming environment “unhealthy”. As their father, he has every right to do so, but as Larry King points out (and Jon swiftly dodges discussing), it didn’t seem too big of a deal when he was still apart of the show.
By the way, it was interesting to learn that Jon made $1 million being on the show. That is a whole lot of Ed Hardy shirts!
Hopefully, he has enough stashed away to pay this lawyer, as he was in breach of his TLC contract by appearing on Larry King and TLC announced this morning that they will be seeking legal action against him
