Jason Derulo who?!?!
Jordin Sparks and Lance Bass recently stepped out together at the Catalina Film Festival this past Friday in Avalon, California which was the first time Jordin had ventured out into the public spotlight following her VERY public breakup with Jason Derulo!

And Jordin could NOT have looked much happier!
Here’s what she wrote on the picture she posted on Instagram:
“My date, @lancebass! Prom theme: Left Behind 2014. ├░┼╕╦£┬ü├░┼╕┼╜┬Ñ├░┼╕ΓÇÿ┬½”
Aww! These two look SO cute together!
Jordin definitely appeared to be having a good time according to some folks who saw her. Here’s what one source said:
“She kept a smile on her face and seemed to be in a good mood. It looked like Jordin was enjoying herself, and she was so sweet to fans.”
And Lance was even pretty forthcoming on how good she was doing. He said:
“She’s doing great. I mean look at her. She’s a superstar and she can handle anything.”
And Jordin doesn’t seem to harbor any ill will towards her ex when this past Friday she tweeted:
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”
That’s the attitude we like to hear!
There’s WAY too many fish in the sea to get too bummed out over one lost fish — although a little bit of sadness in these situations is quite normal!
It seems this America Idol alum is back to her happy place, and we think this beautiful lady is going to be just fine in the long run!
In fact — we know it!!!
