Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Christopher Nolan have already released statements regarding the Colorado shooting during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises, but now another star has too.
Although Joseph Gordon-Levitt fell silent on Twitter following the tragedy, he finally spoke up on Monday to give the victims his condolences. The actor, who plays a Gotham City cop in the film, tweeted:
My most sincere sympathies go out to the families of the victims in Aurora.

His words were short and sweet compared to those of his co-stars, but we can only imagine how tough it is to respond to such a horrific incident!
Mz. Hathaway probably said it best with:
“I am at a loss for words how to express my sorrow.”
No words will make up for the shooter’s senseless actions, but at least people involved in the making of the movie are showing that they care!
We think it’s safe to say that the entire nation’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this unfortunate incident.
