This weekend, Josh Hutcherson was honored at the 2012 GLAAD Awards as the recipient of the coveted Vanguard Award, which is presented every year to a media professional who has gone above and beyond the efforts of most to increase acceptance and tolerance in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community!

It’s so wonderful to be such an educated, compassionate, and selfless young man who was clearly raised in a loving, accepting family, and using his place in the spotlight to educate his fan base on what is truly IMPORTANT!

We just know your uncles are so, so proud of you, Josh.
