Justin Baldoni just revealed the handwritten notes he took with an intimacy coordinator!
As part of his battle with his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively, Justin is breaking down exactly what NSFW details he discussed with the intimacy coordinator about the film’s sex scenes — info he then had to relay to Blake after she “refused” to meet with the intimacy coordinator on her own before the start of shooting!
This is important because in Blake’s suit, she accused him of talking about sex and trying to add more “graphic content” to the film, something he has claimed is not true and based on information she is taking out of context. Now, he’s pulling out the receipts!

In his amended complaint filed last Friday, the director said he met with the coordinator in April 2023 to “discuss how to shoot the sex scenes.” He’d already shared that he texted the Gossip Girl star about making her own appointment to chat with the coordinator, but she wanted to wait until they started filming.
While Justin went along with this, he was clearly frustrated because it put him in the “less than ideal position of having to relay these notes to Lively” during “a script-writing meeting” in her NYC penthouse — which would sometimes include her husband Ryan Reynolds. When you see the kind of things they were discussing, you can easily see why it may have been awkward — especially without an intimacy coordinator around!
In the new filing, the Jane the Virgin alum shared two photos of handwritten notes he’d scribbled with the coordinator, in which they discussed various scenes and potential choreography. For example, he wrote down things like “goes down on her,” “orgasm,” “the clit test,” and “foreplay.” Ch-ch-check it out:

Some of that is certainly graphic — but at the same time, you can see he was considering her comfort level too, such as by noting they wouldn’t show “anything she doesn’t want.”
Justin then allegedly had to take these notes to Blake to chat about what he’d gone over with the expert. And it’s this conversation he is now arguing that the A Simple Favor star totally twisted for her own lawsuit! His legal team wrote:
“These notes would later become the basis for Lively’s complaint, in which she states that Baldoni would talk about his own sex life and insert gratuitous scenes with Lively’s character orgasming.”
Hmm. We don’t know exactly what was said in their conversation about these notes. It’s possible Justin DID get a little too comfortable and maybe did start sharing too much about his own sex life?? They seemed to talk about their personal relationships often, just take their conversation in that on-set footage, for example. Maybe some lines got blurred? It’s possible. If this didn’t happen, though, and Blake’s claims really did just stem from these notes, then that is shady! And proves why it’s important to have these conversations with an intimacy coordinator around!
FWIW, Blake was definitely uncomfortable on set at times because before returning to film after Hollywood strikes, she demanded that an intimacy coordinator “must be present at all times when [Lively] is on set.” So, something happened that put her on edge!
Was it all because of this notes meeting? Or something else?? Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know (below).
