Justin Baldoni Reveals Statement Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Allegedly Wrote And Demanded He Release Taking Full Responsibility For Drama!

Justin Baldoni has released a document allegedly penned by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds… And all we have to say is WOW.

As we’ve been following, the It Ends with Us star/director amended his $400 million lawsuit against the Hollywood power couple and officially published the website containing correspondence between himself and Blake on Saturday. There’s already been a ton of shocking claims and reveals that’ve come out, but one in particular has to do with an apology letter Blake and Ryan allegedly drafted and tried to force Justin and his firm into releasing to the public! We’re not joking!

According to the amended complaint, Blake and Ryan wrote the letter in August from Justin’s perspective taking responsibility for all the bad press the Simple Favor star received after the movie premiered. The complaint states they “demand[ed]” he release it or else the “gloves will come off.” It starts off:

It Ends with Us was a troubled production which we take full accountability for. We are very sorry to everyone we caused upset to privately and publicly. Blake Lively, Colleen Hoover, the entire cast and crew led with professionalism every step of the way, any negativity aimed at them is ours to own. We mutually agreed that the cast would be promoting the film separately and understood why.”

As you may recall, Justin and Blake went in completely different directions while promoting It Ends with Us. Justin used the opportunity to advocate for and spread awareness about domestic violence, while Blake sold the film a more light-hearted fare one should go see with their friends. Remember the whole “wear your floral” backlash?? These are things BLAKE said… Yet she allegedly wanted Justin to take the blame for it all!

The letter continues:

“We have always said we are not perfect and even if we unintentionally make mistakes, we will always own them. We hold ourselves accountable, it’s not anyone’s job but ours and that’s part of being ‘man enough.’ We will practice what we preach. We are learning and growing from the experience and we thank everyone for their patience as we find a better way to proceed. We are very proud of the film and the welcome arms that it’s been received. Part of our work is to have uncomfortable conversations for public growth. The film is doing that on screen and we are doing that off screen. Thank you to the cast and public for the opportunity to be imperfect and to be given the space to learn and grow.”

WOW.

Obviously, Justin did NOT agree to release it. According to his complaint, both WME, the talent agency that represented both him and Blake, and his studio Wayfarer agreed the statement “was vague, implies culpability without substance, and fails to address the issues at hand.” The legal doc adds:

“Furthermore, if the goal was to mitigate negative online attention directed at Lively, the statement would have the opposite effect. In response, Wayfarer, Baldoni, and [Jamey] Heath reject the demand, firmly refusing to issue any statement falsely assuming responsibility for non-existent issues.”

What a BOLD attempt to force Justin into taking the fall for everything! WOW! Hear more about it (below):
