Justin Bieber is searching for a path forward.
As we’ve been reporting, the Peaches singer has those around him trying to help — but walking “on eggshells” over his recent behavior. But he’s not necessarily doing it because he wants to mess around with them. Instead, it seems like he’s acting out of anger while, frankly, being a little adrift.

And now, a new source just confirmed that’s exactly what’s going on. Speaking to Us Weekly on Wednesday, an insider close to the pop star and his wife Hailey summed the whole thing up in just five words:
“Justin has felt lost recently.”
No kidding.
More specifically, he’s actually going through quite a few life upheavals. For one, the source noted:
“His friend group around him has shifted, and he is going through a lot of changes.”
The 31-year-old is also trying to navigate being a dad for the first time in his life nine months after the birth of his and Hailey’s son Jack Blues. Thus, fatherhood, music pressures, and other past traumas are all playing a role:
“Navigating fatherhood, trying to put out music [and] past traumas surfacing has been a lot for him.”
FWIW, JB’s recent history would seem to track with that. For one, the singer parted ways with manager Scooter Braun back in 2023. More recently, he also had a falling out with his longtime business partner Ryan Good, too, leaving their shared venture Drew House in April.
And, yeah, there’s the ongoing Diddy drama — and all of the endless speculation around the music mogul’s trial. So to say there’s a lot going on is an understatement. And it sounds like those still close to the Biebs are worried about his focus. The insider explained:
“People close to him worry he may be hanging out with the wrong people. He has cut a lot of friends out of his life and has a hard time trusting others at this point when it comes to his music and business affairs.”
Oof.
He’s cut so many out of his life… but left some bad apples? That’s tough to hear.
That unfortunately sounds so similar to something we reported back in April about the Canadian crooner’s collaborators raising the alarm about him allegedly lacking oversight in a sea full of sharks. Yikes.
All we can do at this point is send love and light, we suppose. Not much else to say…
