It’s a big week for the Biebs!
Justin Bieber debuted his album Purpose this week, and to mark the major release, the singer held a special event on Friday night in El Lay at the Staples Center called, appropriately, An Evening With Justin Bieber.
Quiz: Who Sang These Songs — Justin Or One Direction?
The event went on for about 90 minutes, and included appearances from Scooter Braun, the Biebs’ manager, as well as his pastor, Judah Smith, and his longtime guitarist Dan Kanter.
During the special, Bieber sang to a packed house at the El Lay arena, while also taking questions from the audience and discussing his new album with the throngs of screaming fans who have been eagerly waiting for Purpose!
After singing acoustic versions of Sorry and What Do You Mean?, the pop star debuted a short film that held special dance routines to every track on Purpose for the audience — the first time the public had apparently ever seen it, according to Braun!

Word has it that Justin even found the whole setting emotional enough to bring him to tears in front of his fans.
Even during his three shows, his mind was clearly elsewhere Friday night (below) first with a prayer, and then a tweet afterwards about the attacks in Paris:
love how he stopped the show to actually pray… this is the Justin Bieber the whole world needs to see pic.twitter.com/EZ6SIbF5SE
