Justin Bieber is taking some time to remember Liam Payne.
After the One Direction singer’s tragic and shocking death, many celebrities have come forward to mourn the star. With the rest of the members of the boyband writing their own letters to Liam, fans around the world making tributes, and even some celebs like Rita Ora just not being able to hold it together: it’s been a sad, sad week for everyone. And now Justin is breaking his silence on his fellow musician’s passing.

Justin probably knows Liam’s position all too well. He, too, has been a pop star dealing mental health issues from a very young age. He’s one of the only people in the world at that level of fame. So he knows better than most what Liam was likely feeling. So it means a lot that he’s reaching out.
On Instagram Monday, the Love Yourself singer reposted a Reel from fan account xorainbowlouis which he captioned:
“Rest easy Liam “
The video itself showed a gigantic memorial for the Strip That Down singer, with fans adding flowers and photos to the pile. The audio of the clip said:
“Just remember: you are allowed to grieve as a fan. You are allowed to love someone you’ve never met. You are allowed to admire someone for their art. You are allowed to cry, to break, to feel like a part of you is gone.”
Beautifully said… And so meaningful for Justin to share, considering he knows how deeply fans care about him. See the tear-jerking video for yourself (below):
Such a sweet thing to share. So many people all around the world are feeling this loss, Justin included. R.I.P. Liam.
