Justin Bieber isn’t done cutting people out of his life!
This week, fans noticed that the pop star FINALLY unfollowed Diddy on Instagram! After the rapper’s arrest, folks started to worry about his past connections to a teenage JB — and there’s been a lot of speculation about what may have gone down between ’em. Sources have claimed Justin’s been upset over the allegations against Sean Combs and trying to avoid the situation.
But when the pop star went on an unfollow spree earlier this year, purging his account of many of the most influential people in the early days of his career (such as Scooter Braun), he notably continued to follow Puff Daddy. Now, though, he’s finally ready to cut ties!

That’s not all, either…
Justin also unfollowed his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s husband-to-be Benny Blanco — shortly after the news that they’re releasing a new album together, too. Justin used to collaborate with the music producer, such as on the hit song Lonely. One person on X (Twitter) joked:
“justin bieber unfollowing benny today after announcing his album collab with selena shows that a man could literally be MARRIED and still thinking about you lol”
On the chopping block was a total of just over 20 accounts, according to eagle-eyed fans on Reddit, including big names like The Weeknd, Nick Cannon, Pharrell, Diplo, Lil Yachty, Zane Lowe, and Scooter’s company SB Projects. Drake and Lil Dicky, both of whom he’s worked with in the past, were also unfollowed. Wow.
It’s unclear what the reasoning for this is. Does he have beef with everyone? Is he going on a random unfollow spree? Or is he adding a few random names into the pack so it’s less obvious who he’s really trying to avoid? Hmm.
This comes amid a tough personal time for the singer as he has reportedly been dealing with marriage issues with his wife, Hailey Bieber — who he briefly unfollowed (though he claimed he was hacked). They’ve both seemingly hit back at the divorce rumors. On Thursday, he also took to the ‘gram to share a poignant message about the need to “grow up.” Seems like he’s been doing some soul-searching…
