Congratulations are in order for Kailyn Lowry, as the Teen Mom 2 star took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she’s expecting her fourth child!
Kail made the announcement by posting a photo of herself and her three sons Isaac, Lincoln, and Lux, who was holding up a pic of the sonogram showing his future sibling.
The 27-year-old explained how her fourth pregnancy has been “rough” so far, writing in the caption:
“We’re confirming the news, baby #4 is coming soon. I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant and it’s been a rough few months this time around. I’ve had nausea, morning sickness and absolutely no energy. This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way.”
The pregnancy reveal soon turned into an #ad for the Peanut app, which the MTV star said has been helping her “build friendships, find support and learn from other women at a similar stage in life.”

She wrote:
“@Peanut has been an amazing support for me since I found out I was pregnant again. Going through nausea and morning sickness while trying to keep the news a secret can be quite isolating. Whether you’re already a mom, pregnant, or trying to conceive, I really recommend you join the @peanut community. While she had plenty of wonderful words about the Peanut app, Kail didn’t mention at all who the father of her fourth child is. However, it’s been reported that the baby daddy is Chris Lopez, who is the father of Lowry’s 2-year-old son Lux. Last month, a photo was published on a Teen Mom fan account that seemingly showed Kailyn sending a pic of her ultrasound to Chris’ aunt.

If Chris was the father, it would certainly be an inneresting turn of events: the two weren’t even on speaking terms as of the spring of 2019, and back in December, Kailyn said on the Teen Mom 2 reunion that there was “no co-parenting” with Chris, adding:
“Right now, he’s just working and going to therapy, as far as I know. Working on himself.”
The pregnancy was also a shock to fans because the reality star revealed back in October that she wasn’t planning on having another baby until she had a ring on her finger. Now, that was about 15 weeks ago — a week after Kail apparently got pregnant — so it’s unclear if she was trying to mislead fans or simply just didn’t know at the time.
Either way, we’ll surely get more details soon!
