Kailyn Lowry and Amber Portwood are not holding back what they think about David Eason and animal cruelty in the wake of the horrific, untimely death of Jenelle Evans‘ French bulldog, Nugget.
The Teen Mom 2 stars are both coming to Jenelle’s defense this week, just days after Eason killed the pup with what was allegedly an almost unimaginable use of force at Jenelle’s rural North Carolina home days ago.
And while Eason has not been found guilty of anything yet — despite there being at least two ongoing investigations into the incident right now — he’s certainly been convicted in the court of public opinion, at least so far as Kailyn and Amber are concerned.

Lowry coming to Evans’ aid is particularly notable, considering the two women have been feuding for quite a while on social media, even going as far as Jenelle’s mother Barbara getting caught on camera openly wondering whether to kill Kailyn during a drunken outing with her reality TV daughter.
So when we saw this open letter pop up on Kailyn’s social media feeds (below), well, let’s just say we were a little surprised:

Quite a statement! Especially because it (at least temporarily) buries the hatchet with Jenelle!
In full, the statement Lowry released on behalf of her company, Pothead Haircare, says (below):
“I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget. To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings. I want to make it clear that neither myself or my company, Pothead Haircare, condone violence against animals. Being the owner of dogs myself, I am heartbroken and sickened by what happened to Nugget. I hope that Jenelle and her children are safe and take the necessary steps to get the help that is clearly needed.”

And she wasn’t the only one who came to Jenelle’s aid, either! Amber was also overcome with emotion upon hearing about Nugget’s death, and shared her thoughts on social media, as well.

What do U think about these Teen Mom stars coming to Jenelle’s aid, y’all?? Sure, it’s only social media, but the public gestures of support are nice and much-needed considering Evans’ tricky situation while still living with Eason, don’t you think?!
