Was Kanye West‘s most recent performance the next Fyre Festival? Maybe, maybe not!

Local organizers of a Friday night church service in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where ‘Ye preached and performed songs from his new album Jesus Is King are coming under fire after an image of a sad-looking plate of food served to an attendee has gone viral.

Though the actual concert was free, $55 was charged for a VIP ‘Brunchella’ breakfast plate ahead of the fundraiser event, but what was allegedly served to guests hardly looks VIP-esque…

Here are some of the BEST Twitter responses (below):

You deserve this if you spent $55 to go to something called Brunchella to see 2019 Kanye

Kanye charging $55 for fake bacon, pale sausage and pancakes dry as a Popeye’s biscuit?! Ye fans out here gettin’ BAMBOOZLED! Hahahahahahahahahahahah! #Brunchella

Baton Rouge has some of the best authentic Cajun food you could ever eat and Kanye and his god got y’all eating undercooked light in color non crispy sausage down to #Brunchella for $55. God does not dwell in chaos, sweetie.

Word on the curb is Kanye is out here selling store brand bacon & Eggo waffles for 55.00 at #Brunchella. A preschool breakfast plate if you will, fitting for a theology that’s elementary. You literally get what you pay for, & ya ought to be sick of Kimye making an ass outta you”

The pictures of the #Brunchella plates have me in tears. Kanye got y’all again.

It seems the photos have garnered attention because of how little food is shown, though a video walk through of the brunch tent shows more of the set-up:

In case you needed a refresher, here’s a look at what attendees of Fyre Festival were fed in 2017:

Pretty similar, no?!

But could everyone be overreacting, here? Lauryn’s Fine Catering, who provided food for the event has since issued statements regarding the meal. To TMZ, they shared:

“The catering company acknowledges it did not provide adequate food for ONE attendee and a social media post went viral. Kanye West and the Sunday Service collective should be disassociated with such claims surrounding the food at the event.”

An additional comment was issued to DailyMail.com (below):

“Lauryn’s Fine Catering has been contacted about the poor service and quality of food provided during the event as a paid vendor. The catering company acknowledges it did not provide adequate food for ONE attendee and a social media post went viral. Any further inquiries or food complaints associated with the event can be directed to Lauryn’s Fine Catering.”

But the food offering wasn’t the only thing attendees took issue with! Other concert goers shared their experience on social media about the supposed VIP entrance and viewing area which didn’t deliver as promised:

To top things off, West’s performance was delayed by close to two hours while eager attendees waited outside:
