Are you even surprised by this?
Kanye West has been making waves with Jesus Is King, his ninth studio album with a heavy religious motif, and he’s continuing to do so with his recently shared thoughts about the Democratic party.

In an interview with host Big Boy which aired Friday, West made claims (without evidence) that Democrats are forcing black people to abort their children. Amid his rambles, he seems to confuse birth control (prevents pregnancy, among other benefits), Plan B (emergency contraception which prevents pregnancy), and abortions (terminates existing pregnancy).
His confusing response came after being asked by the host what he has to say to those who believe he has turned against the black community. ‘Ye shared (below):
“We’re brainwashed out here, bro. Come on, man. This is a free man talking. Democrats had us voting [for] Democrats with food stamps for years. What are you talking about? Guns in the 80s, taking the fathers out the home, Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort our children…Thou shall not kill.”
Mr. West, who has been vocal about his support for Donald Trump in recent years, attempted to use the Bible to push his ill-informed agenda and he should be aware that sharing medical inaccuracies is highly dangerous for uneducated listeners. It’s also concerning he cannot differentiate Plan B from abortion, considering his interest in becoming politically active.
Then again, we’re not totally shocked by these new comments considering some of the other inflammatory things he’s had to say!
While the President has yet to comment on the rapper’s new music, Donald Trump Jr. had plenty to say on Twitter, writing (below) on Monday along with an image of the album art:
“Kanye West is cracking the culture code. @kanyewest’s new album
#JesusIsKing is the epitome of fearless creativity and “dangerous, unapproved” ideas. Leftists always try to silence those who are speaking truth. They’re waging a war on our family and culture. Kanye is a pioneer”

The 42-year-old had far less controversial things to say while flying high (literally) in a new episode of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden set in an airplane, mostly focusing the heavenly chat on his faith and his wife, sharing:
“God’s always had a plan for me and he wanted to use me, but I think he wanted me to suffer more and wanted people to see my suffering and see my pain and put stigmas on me and have me go through all the human experiences. So now, when I talk about how Jesus saved me, more people can relate to that experience.”
