Kanye West is determined to help the residents of Chicago!
According to recent reports, Yeezy has come up with an organization that is tasked with helping those in neighborhoods dealing with housing problems, gun violence, poor education, etc. The new foundation, named Donda Social, has been West’s brainchild for a while — but has recently garnered steam this week.

We can’t say we’re surprised to learn this, as Kanye has been getting quite a bit of publicity the last several days. However, per TMZ, Kanye won’t be alone in his Donda Social endeavor, as he has enlisted several of his A-list peers to help. Yeezus’ good pal and G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Malik Yusef confirmed that Common, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, and others have agreed to participate.
So, how exactly does Donda Social work?? Apparently, the plan is to get the members of Donda Social to visit with Chicago residents and help come up with solutions to better the area. Oh, and their money is appreciated, too!
Still, the main goal is to make political change in the Windy City, so that the government benefits the people! This update comes only days after Kanye called out former President and Chicago native Barack Obama on Twitter:
Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.
