Kanye West has been putting a lot of people in the fashion world on blast lately, and his latest victim is none other than Louis Vuitton!
Despite the fact that ‘Ye interned and designed $800 shoes for the fashion house back in 2009, the “Louis Vuitton Don” thinks their merchandise is far too expensive and sends a negative message to his followers.
Kanye explained to Power 106 on Monday:
“If I had the opportunity to design for Louis Vuitton now, I wouldn’t, because the prices are just too extreme. I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to use my message to have kids saving up that much to be a part of what the ideas are. That├óΓé¼Γäós the problem to me with luxury.”
We can only imagine this is a recent change of heart since Yeezus designed a pair of shoes for Giuseppe Zanotti last year that retailed for $6000!
Maybe fianc├â┬⌐ Kim Kardashian‘s affordable Kardashian Kollection finally struck a chord with the rapper.
