Kanye West is getting major heat for his misogynistic lyrics about Taylor Swift in his new song Famous.
In The Life of Pablo track — which debuted at his Yeezy 3 Show on Thursday — the rapper said he wouldn’t mind having sex with the Bad Blood songstress AND credits himself for her fame, saying:
“I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that b*tch famous.”
While Ye defended his choice of words, claiming he got permission from both the singer and his wife Kim Kardashian West, Swifty’s team blasted Kanye for the lyrics, saying she “cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”
Like it or not, Kanye isn’t the first artist to spit out lyrics disrespectful to women. One Direction, Justin Bieber, and even Taylor herself have crooned some sexist words in their day…
