Kanye West is getting an early start!
In case you forgot, The Life Of Pablo rapper announced his plans to run for President in the 2020 election at the 2015 MTV VMAs.
Well, on Tuesday, he stayed true to his word and taking to Twitter set the groundwork of his views on the education system in the US!

Considering the 38-year-old dropped out of college before eventually receiving an honorary doctorate months ago, it really only makes sense he would want to speak out on it!
He kicked it off by sharing a story:
I have a friend who works really hard and makes $370 dollars a day…

We’re sure you can tell where this is going…

Education puts Americans into debt before they even get a chance to get started…
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 16, 2016
We have to lower the price of textbooks…
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 16, 2016
I’d rather teachers got paid more and books cost less … #2020

Kanye has a great point here…
BUT he is starting to come off as hypocritical.
Yes, the same person who begged for money because he’s $53 million in “personal debt,” and asked Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion into his ideas, only to admit he can afford the luxuries of life… wants to lower the price of textbooks.
And not only that, but he criticized developers for opening schools in Africa.
At least Yeezy is taking a stand for what he believes in, and maybe he can convince Mark to donate that billion dollars to his cause!
What do U think?
