Kanye West Talks Dressing Kim, Says His Mind Is Like An Hermes Factory

Kanye West Talks Dressing Kim, Says His Mind Is Like An Hermes Factory

Kanye West talks to W magazine about his fashion past, present and future
Kanye West is profiled in the July issue of W magazine, and the quotes are as outrageous and nonsensical as you’d expect!
The best part is probably the revelation that Yeezy’s latest song I Am a God was actually inspired after a major designer told Kanye that he could attend his show during Paris Fashion Week as long as he didn’t attend any of the others.
Kanye explained:

“So the next day I went to the studio with Daft Punk, and I wrote I Am a God. Cause it’s like, Yo! Nobody can tell me where I can and can’t go. Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix. You can’t say that you love music and then say that Kanye West can’t come to your show! To even think they could tell me where I could and couldn’t go is just ludicrous. It’s blasphemous—to rock ’n’ roll, and to music. How can someone stop my opportunity to see something that he can teach me, that I can help teach the world?”

Hmm, who could this brazen designer be??? We know it’s not Marc Jacobs because Kanye was present at the Louis Vuitton presentation back in January.
Any guesses?
The rapper also talks about the criticism his first women’s collection received, saying:

“The first collection was way better than the second. It was more artful. It was 30 collections in one. It just takes time for me to slow down and think like a normal person. I tried to come out of the gate going crazy. And it didn├óΓé¼Γäót work. So now I have to somehow put out something that says, ‘I look sensible!’├óΓé¼┼á”

In fact, he will be releasing a line of men’s clothing consisting of “sensible” pieces, including hoodies and jeans, this July in collaboration with a French label that is most likely A.P.C.
Inevitably, talk moves to Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s much-publicized revamping of her style. According to the 36-year-old, he only gave Kim a few pointers, adding:

“Nobody can tell my girl what to do. She just needed to be given some platforms of information to work from. For her to take that risk in front of the world, it just shows you how much she loves me. And how much she actually loves the opportunity to learn. You got, like, a million companies saying, ‘This is impacting your brand! This is impacting your fans! And blah blah blah.’ But she still sees this light of beauty.”

Finally, ‘Ye ends the interview with a line that could’ve only germinated from his crazy/genius brain:

“Visiting my mind is like visiting the Herm├â┬¿s factory. Shit is real. You├óΓé¼Γäóre not going to find a chink. It├óΓé¼Γäós 100,000 percent Jimi Hendrix.”

We don’t know what that means, but it sounds kinda awesome.
Never change, Kanye, never change.
