Kate Middleton Says Prince William Doesn't Want Anymore Kids!

Prince William & Kate Middleton are done having kids.

Well, it’s official: we guess Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s royal family is complete?

The 38-year-old royal mother of three spoke with leaders from various faith and community groups at Khidmat Centre in Bradford, Yorkshire on Wednesday, marking one of her first public outings since news broke that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taking a step back from their royal duties.

At one point during the appearance, the Duchess of Cambridge took an opportunity to let us all know how her husband is feeling about having a fourth child.

According to People, the admission came after an eager fan named Josh Macpalce chatted with Kate and noted he previously sent greeting cards congratulating her on each of her kids’ births. She crushed the commoner’s dream of sending another celebratory message when she explained Will’s stance:

“I don’t think William wants any more.”

Notice how she pins this decision solely on Will?! Perhaps she’s still down!

As you surely know, she and the Duke of Cambridge already share 1-year-old Prince Louis, Prince George, 6, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 4. We’re glad their brood is so close in age because according to this revelation, they’ll likely only have each other (and cousin Archie Harrison, someday!) to lean on going forward.

The outlet also noted the parents had discussed the possibility of having a fourth kid about a year ago when the couple toured Northern Ireland together; the topic came up when Will and Kate met a father named James Barr and his precious 5-month-old baby. At the time, Middleton gushed:

“He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody.”

However, when asked if she’s ready to have another child, she joked:

“I think William would be a little worried.”

We went from a nervous possibility to a straight-up “no,” just like that!

If Will were to flip, another son could mean another male heir in line to take over the throne from Queen Elizabeth II and her successors someday, but the entire Royal family has no shortage of other pressing matters to attend to in the meantime. Like, repairing tensions among their already existing family members!

Despite the obvious tensions still looming after Meg and Harry’s big news, crowd member Rukshar Parveen told People that William “didn’t let it show that the drama had been going on” during Wednesday’s public outing:

“I love the Royal Family and I was really impressed with him.”
