If Kate Winslet signs on for a role in the screen adaptation of Veronica Roth‘s Divergent series, then it will DEFINITELY be a teen film franchise to rival ALL teen film franchises!!
Cause rumor has it the newly married A-Lister has joined the Divergent cast, which already includes Shailene Woodley as Beatrice “Tris” Prior, and PERHAPS Mr. Alex Pettyfer as Tobias “Four” Eaton!
Summit Entertainment tweeted in a since deleted tweet:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós official! Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet has signed on for the highly anticipated film adaptation of #Divergent!”
Ok, so if Summit backtracked and removed their post it’s obviously NOT official that Kate is on board…
But we’re crossing all our fingers and toes that this rumor is legit!!
And then they just need to convince Leonardo DiCaprio to forget about his acting break and all our Titanic/Divergent crossover dreams will come true!!
