This is so sad!
Kathy Griffin‘s brother has just succumbed to a hard-fought battle with cancer. According to her incredibly moving Facebook post, he died while in palliative care.
The comedienne says her bro Gary Griffin was a HUGE Eagles fan, and she posted a recent picture (above) of them posing with an autograph from the band’s guitarist, Joe Walsh.
Ugh! This is just so tragic! We feel very bad for her!
Her FB message read:
“This AM my brave brother Gary Griffin passed away in palliative care after a brutal struggle w cancer. Our last real conversation, w my brother I loved so much, was just a few days go when I got him this signed picture from his idol, @JoeWalsh. He loved the Eagles, 70s rock, The Chicago White Sox and the Xavier “muskies”… Oh & he was funny as sh*t.’
In her most recent tweet, Kathy also goes on to describe him as her “hero.” Aww, he sounds like a wonderful man!
It’s all so sad! Our hearts go out to his entire family and all of his loved ones!
