After KatyKat Roared Sydney awake with some AH-Mazing performances, she took a seat with the hosts of Australia’s morning show Sunrise to talk about her new album PRISM.
But Katy also spilled on who her favorite fellow pop singer is right now! She admitted:
“I love your neighbor, Lorde. She’s awesome. I think she’s so refreshing because her lyrics are so important to shake up pop music. She’s 16 and she’s unfiltered and she’s unaffected and I love that!”
She probably also digs how Lorde has yet to show any skin, unlike a lot of other pop princesses out now. Without naming any names, Katy recently called out some female musicians for being a little too free with their naked expressions these days.
But hold the phone! Because Katy is NOT claiming that she’s never disrobed for a little attention! She admitted to the crowd:
“I’m not that innocent. We all know that. I was naked on a cotton candy cloud at one time. Don’t forget it. I think it’s important to be able to show off all the different dimensions. Not just sell sex. Sell your brain.”
Exactly, KatyKat! A hot bod and a big brain = PURE SEXINESS!
