When sports and fashion meet, this is what we get!
Katy Perry showed true commitment to the theme when she appeared at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show Press Conference on Thursday in Phoenix, Arizona in a football-print crop top and skirt!
We’re not surprised since she already showed us her pigskin pedicure earlier in the week, but we love it! Her manicure was football-themed as well, and she wore Claire’s football earrings and necklace!
The only thing missing was some eye black on her cheeks!
Proving that she has been keeping up with all the Super Bowl headlines, the halftime performer quoted Marshawn Lynch at the beginning of the press conference, saying:
“I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”
Ha! She’s hilarious! And the reporters begrudgingly laughed, even though they’re probably still mad at Marshawn for refusing to give interviews.
That wasn’t all, though, as the 30-year-old referenced #DeflateGate by promising:
“Nothing in my performance will be deflated.”
Get it? Because she has big boobs? Nice one, girl!
Finally, she dropped clues about her mystery guest performer:
“I wanted to bring someone back ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a throwback of sorts. [Someone] that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is that it will be a real female fun night. It’s a bit old school, yes. But when I think when this person enters the stage and when you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt. Let the guessing games begin!”
Hmm, “someone back who needed some more shine”? We hope it’s Janet Jackson!!!
Katy also promised a lion and sharks! WHAT???
It sounds like it’s gonna be the craziest halftime show ever!
