Although Katy performed last night at the Billboard Music Awards with a Brand look-alike, it now seems like she could’ve been singing about someone else!
The Wide Awake songstress is now single, once again, after calling it quits from Robert Ackroyd, the guitarist from Florence + The Machine!
Katy and Robert├óΓé¼Γäós relationship was short lived — lasting only a month — but reportedly, there were no hard feelings exchanged and it was never really THAT serious!
A source reveals:
“It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they’ll talk soon.”
That’s probably a good move, seeing as it really does seem that Katy is still dealing with her December divorce from Russell. Her new single, Wide Awake, definitely sounds like it was written about him!!
As for Katy and Robert?
Who knows, maybe the would-be lovebirds will reconnect in the future??? They DID look really cute all cuddled up at Coachella!
