Kelly Clarkson took to the American Idol stage on Thursday night to wrap up the episode, performing Piece By Piece — and doing it SO well that she brought judges and audience members to tears!
She even made herself a little bit emotional with the performance, getting swept up in the nostalgia of where her career began, considering it’s now Idol‘s final season on television.

The performance itself was AH-mazing — soaring vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and really, a testament to some of the talent that Idol has produced in its years on TV.
