Kelly Clarkson Is Perfectly Tuned For Lucky's Music Issue

Kelly Clarkson has returned to the dark side — at least for the August issue of Lucky Magazine.
The brunette turned blonde cover the mag’s first ever music issue looking slim and trim in a Rachel Comey blazer, Michael Stars top, and Diesel jeans. For the shoot Clarkson wears Z Spoke by Zac Posen.
For the interview, Lucky visited Kelly on the set of her new show Duets, and talked all things fashion, beauty and her love life!
Here are some HIGHlights:

On how she gets ready in the morning:
“I put on the Hank Williams and the Patsy Cline and the Rosemary Clooney on vinyl├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I├óΓé¼Γäóm not trying to be some cool indie ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ rock person, I just love the way it sounds├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and throw on a t-shirt and jeans. In Texas, we practically come out of the womb in jeans.”
On her beauty routine:
“I just blow-dry my hair and put on mascara and lip gloss, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm ready to go. I really don├óΓé¼Γäót get long nails. They├óΓé¼Γäóre so Edward Scissorhands.”
On her new man:
“Oh, there├óΓé¼Γäós all these rumors that I├óΓé¼Γäóm a lesbian. I have a boyfriend now, Brandon Blackstock, my manager Narvel├óΓé¼Γäós son, Reba McEntire‘s stepson? I just had my 30th birthday and we went turkey shooting. It├óΓé¼Γäós what I wanted to do, so we went.”
On her love of bandage dresses:
“They├óΓé¼Γäóre like built-in Spanx.”
On not being the stereotypical pop star:
“People act like there├óΓé¼Γäós this one set of rules to follow to be a pop star, and I think, Well, you say I├óΓé¼Γäóm a pop star, so maybe that├óΓé¼Γäós not true.”

We’re really loving how open the starlet is about her relationship and style. She seems so “normal” and down to earth, which is rare in Hollywood.
