With director Joe Wright reportedly a frontrunner to helm 50 Shades of Grey‘s naughty ship, his favorite leading lady, Keira Knightley, could very well be our Anatasia Steele!
YUP.
Joe has made Keira his go-to female protagonist in flicks like Anna Karenina, Atonement, and Pride & Prejudice, so it is only natural that he would favor the starlet to play Ian Somerhalder Christian Grey’s innocent love interest.
Keira fits the profile as a brunette waif, but she might be a bit too old to play a college student.
We’re also not sure we can imagine Keira liking the idea of trading in her corsets for bondage.
