Don’t you just love awards season??
Kerry Washington, Issa Rae, Yara Shahidi, Laverne Cox, and Halle Berry came together at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles on Monday night, and we’re not surprised to see them slaying!
With nearly all of them wearing black, they were almost coordinated, though each ensem definitely stood out!

The Scandal starlet opted for a Michael Kors gown with a large skirt for that extra wow factor, while Issa chose a high-neck Marc Jacobs number covered in sequins. And while you can’t see it (above), the dress also featured an unexpected open back!
Then there was the 17-year-old Grown-ish star who flawlessly pulled off a black Vera Wang dress featuring a peter pan collar, mesh bodice, and off-shoulder straps to pair with Jimmy Choo shoes, Aurate earrings, and a Kat Kim ring.
She was pulling out all the stops!!
Laverne sparkled beside her in a completely see-through Abyss by Abby frock, HStern jewels, a L’Afshar clutch, and Stuart Weitzman heels, as Halle looked like the epitome of a goddess in a lace Reem Acra dress with a very sheer panel going down the front.
We can’t tell if there was a wardrobe malfunction ready to happen, but the A-lister wore the outfit with all the confidence in the world!
Tracee Ellis Ross, Susan Kelechi Watson, and her This Is Us costar Mandy Moore were also in attendance! See their red carpet looks (below)!
