Kevin Spacey Accused Of Making Sexual Advances Towards Anthony Rapp When The Rent Star Was Only 14 -- & He Comes Out As Gay In Apology

Kevin Spacey is being accused of making sexual advances on a young man when he was only 14 years old, and that’s only the beginning of this story.
On Sunday evening, the celebrated actor also came out as gay amid the allegations that he made an unwanted sexual advance towards Rent actor Anthony Rapp back in 1986. Whoa.

Well, there you have it. As for the upsetting accusation, Rapp’s admission came hours before Spacey’s announcement as he opened up to Buzzfeed about their unsavory encounter. Per the report, Kevin invited a teen Anthony to a party at his Manhattan apartment in 1986. Both performers were starring on Broadway at the time.
According to Rapp, he was the only youth there at the bash and spent most of the party watching TV in a bedroom. Apparently, the party ended without him realizing it and that’s when the then 26-year-old Spacey appeared in the room’s doorway. Things took an awkward turn from there as the Dazed and Confused alum shared:

“My memory was that I thought, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, everybody’s gone. Well, yeah, I should probably go home.” … [Spacey] sort of stood in the doorway, kind of swaying. My impression when he came in the room was that he was drunk ├óΓé¼┬ª He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold. But I don’t, like, squirm away initially, because I’m like, ├óΓé¼╦£What’s going on?’ And then he lays down on top of me.”

Oh no. He continued:

“He was trying to seduce me. I don’t know if I would have used that language. But I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually.”

Anthony previously told this story to The Advocate back in 2001 but, at the time, refused to name the A-lister. On why he decided to speak out about the sexual advance, Rapp explained online:
