Yep, it seems shortly after Tristan posted the sweet message, he had to limit comments to just friends to protect himself from all the negativity coming his way.

The Good American founder turns 35 today, and she’s getting some incredibly sweet celebratory messages from all the expected places — and one maybe not so much?
We were surprised to see such a glowing missive from her cheater ex, Tristan Thompson, but that’s exactly what she got. We still wonder what happened on Mother’s Day when he was radio silent! Anyway…

Just as the cheating scandal fallout pt. 2 is finally airing on KUWTK, it seems the parents of True have patched up their relationship in a lot of ways.
Hard to see it much differently when you read what the NBA star wrote, along with that sweet pic (above)!
