For Khlo├â┬⌐ Kardashian, fitness is more than just getting a hot bod; it’s a way to deal with life’s many obstacles.
Recently, the KUWTK star wrote a blog post on her website called “Why I’m Thankful For Revenge Body” where she reveals the various reasons why she wanted to make her latest E! show.
The 32-year-old says working out and eating right have helped her cope with various past hardships, including her divorce from Lamar Odom and her stepdad Caitlyn Jenner‘s transition.

“My fitness journey was mine alone. I did not realize that taking the steps to be healthy├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥to gain my strength mentally and physically├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥would help get me through my divorce, the criticism that I get on a daily basis or my stepdad’s transition.”

Miz Kardashian admits that during her dark moments, she would turn to food to numb the pain and to avoid the reality of these situations.

“I’m an emotional eater. I had to train myself not to turn to a gallon of ice cream or order 3 pizzas in secrecy and eat them all, like I used to. Before, when I felt sad, I didn’t talk about how I felt. I would just eat my feelings. You could tell, by my bad skin and because I was losing my hair. I wasn’t getting the right nutrients. When I started going to the gym, I realized that if I felt frustrated, I could figure it out by working out. I never did it for any other validation. It was all for myself.”

One of the main reasons why Khloé wanted to produce Revenge Body was to become a guiding light for those who feel lost or hopeless.

“The fact that this resonated with so many people or even that I could be an inspiration to one person really means the world to me. I think that’s why I appreciate it so much. It shows how much people need that light that I never had. I didn’t have someone to look up to or someone that just kept it fucking real with me. It’s taken three years of this, and I’m finally in the last few months of my journey. People are like, ‘You look so good,’ and I’m like, ‘I’ve been going to the gym for three fucking years.’ Getting in shape is not a quick, overnight thing. It is a lifelong struggle and a battle, and I want to win every time. That’s also what people are going through in Revenge Body.”‘

Overall, the show isn’t about looking hot, or even losing weight; it’s about finding happiness, and taking charge of your life!

“The message of Revenge Body is to discover the reason you started getting into a dark place├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and how you really can get out of it.”

Khloé is truly an inspiration!
