Khloé Kardashian may not be romantically interested in Tristan Thompson at all (or so we’re supposed to believe), but she’s down to have him in her life more often — if only for her daughter’s sake.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is supremely focused on her adorable 20-month-old baby girl True Thompson, and according to a source, that focus extends to being fully open to Tristan as a co-parent, relationship baggage and all!

Speaking to Us Weekly about the Good American founder’s unique family situation, what with the NBA star on the outs romantically and all, a source dished (below):
“[Khloé] is trying to practice self-care and self-love, and integrate Tristan into her life more and more. She still feels burned [by the cheating scandal involving Jordyn Woods]… But she’s focused on being a great mom to True.”

Of course, the 35-year-old reality TV star has long been dealing with hot-and-cold behavior from her 28-year-old former beau. The basketball star was infamously involved (to put it mildly…) in that salacious scandal with Kylie Jenner‘s former best friend back in February. More recently, he’s been following Khlo-money around almost like a puppy dog, apparently hoping for forgiveness and a second third (fourth?) chance.
With their histrionic history together, it’s commendable Khloé is even so open to Tristan being involved in her life at all. But again, it’s what’s best for baby True — and the reality TV momma will do whatever she has to do to ensure her daughter grows up in a healthy environment.
It’s been a year of co-parenting for the KarJenner girls, what with Khloé struggling in this situation and Kylie Jenner seamlessly navigating the same realm with her former flame, Travis Scott. Little bro Rob Kardashian has thankfully been mostly calm and quiet over the past year or so — a vast improvement on his formerly volatile situation with ex Blac Chyna.
And of course, Kourtney Kardashian has long had co-parenting down to a near science with baby daddy Scott Disick and his new love interest, Sofia Richie. Their family dynamic has even remained relatively smooth this winter with the return of Younes Bendjima on the dating scene. No amateurs here!

So all eyes will be on Khloé to see how she navigates co-parenting with her un-trustworthy ex. If the source here is to be believed, though, it sounds like she’s doing everything right in trying to give True a happy, healthy home under the unusual circumstances.
