Mark Wahlberg has been officially deemed as host of the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards, and we could NOT be more excited!
Nickelodeon’s President of Content Development and Production Russell Hicks said announced the big slimy news, saying:

“We are thrilled to welcome a superstar like Mark Wahlberg as he takes the helm as our master of ceremonies at the biggest kid event of the year. We can’t wait for him to host and have lots of slime-filled fun with Hollywood’s biggest stars and our audience.”

Marky Mark is a proud poppa himself, and seems to talk about his kids more than ever these days…
…So this seems like a match made in heaven!
The event is due to happen on March 29th, and voting for the awards will start up soon.
