It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian West has been giving Tristan Thompson a hard time on KUWTK lately.
But now that her peak cheating scandal disdain for Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy is playing out on TV screens, she’s graciously decided to offer the NBA star some sympathy!
The 38-year-old stopped by Ellen for Wednesday’s episode and discussed the drama that’s been playing out on recent episodes of the family’s show — like her saying she was “going to spit on” Tristian after discovering he blocked her on social media.

While watching a family member threaten you with their saliva is just another Sunday night for the Kardashians, Kimmy Kakes admitted it can be a bit “awkward” for KUWTK newcomers to hear the shady things that were said behind their backs months before. She explained:
“It is awkward, especially for maybe Tristan, who isn’t used to this. Unfortunately, that was what’s going on in our lives. So six months later when it replays and they’ve gotten through what they needed to get through and it’s rehashed in front of everyone and everyone’s giving their opinions all over again and we’re live tweeting and everyone’s chiming in. So that is hard for Khloe and I’m sure for Tristan, but it’s our reality.”
And we’re all just living in it.
Thankfully, the famous fam has learned how to cope with this so-called reality of theirs. Kim said of the show’s pre-taped episodes:
“We’ve learned to kind of use [the episodes] as a therapy just to kind of get it out one last time with everyone else.”
Because, yes, everything that’s playing out on the cameras is 100% real:
“There’s nothing really that we’ve taken out. So we will let everyone watch and be like, ‘OK, this is what I said about you and this is how I feel about you or felt about you. It is what it is.”
The family definitely doesn’t shy away from letting each other know how they feel — not even Kanye West, apparently.

Later in the interview, the KKW Beauty mogul admitted that she can sometimes “get in trouble” with her husband over her sexxxy Instagram photos, revealing:
“It’s like half and half because he always wants me to be me and feel confident and we’re having fun, but it also bothers him.”
