Kim Kardashian does NOT want to be a full-time momager yet!
In a preview shared with People for the upcoming season of The Kardashians, the reality star opens up to Kris Kenner and Khloé Kardashian about balancing her daughter North’s blossoming career with her own. Spoiler! It’s a struggle! She admits:
“I thought I was busy before. North, me having to be her momager right now is crazy. It’s just, it was not on my list. It was not on my Bingo card for this year.”
And it’s true! North had quite the busy year in 2024 as she was featured on her father Kanye West’s track Talking / Once Again. The pre-teen also performed as Young Simba for The Lion King’s 30th anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl in May. Then she went on to have a verse on FKA Twigs’ song Childlike Things. Wow!

When you add all that atop everything Kim does… The business, the acting, the modeling, the activism… Heck, she’s still planning to pass the Bar Exam and become a lawyer! It’s a lot to juggle for one person! Even Kris points out:
“It’s a lot of work. It’s a lot of energy.”
And right now, Kim says, she is “not ready” to be a momager. She adds:
“If she has a shoot, I have to be there all day, so it’s like her or me.”
“It’s her or me”?? Damn! Them’s fightin’ words! LOLz!
In all seriousness, the SKIMS founder obviously wants her 11-year-old to achieve her dreams. However, Kim also wants North to have a balance with her career while still being a kid and having fun. She goes on to explain in a confessional:
“I’m really conflicted on my daughter’s career, so we’re going to talk about that soon. I just really want to make sure that everything’s really well balanced. All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance.”
Hopefully, Kim — and Nori — get that “balance” soon! And Momma doesn’t have to feel like she needs to give up her own goals!
